At Create the Great in You we coach countless groups of students and teachers from primary school to third level education.
We believe an early introduction to cooperation, communication and mental resilience is key to providing children and young adults with a good work ethic. These skills are essential as they progress through the education system whether working on projects alone or in a group setting.
We offer four different programmes that are tailored for students and teachers in all levels of educations;
Team Building & Collaboration Allows students to recognise their own personal skills and how to use them in a group setting. It also provides an understanding that their peers may have a different work-process and this shouldn’t hinder the collaboration of their group.
Mental Strength & Resilience Focuses on improving the students ability to accept set-backs in their work, understand how the issues occurred and,most importantly, conceive solutions.
Mentor Training Identifies the potential leaders and teachers in the class. As a group we discuss what characteristics make a great leader and encourage those who wish to help others.
Finally, Keynote/Motivational Speaker Is a talk by our coaches about their life experiences, the impact of those experiences and how their resilience allowed them to persevere.
Create the Great in You is an excellent and exciting youth development programme created and developed by Mark McCormack and his team. The programme encourages young people to share their feelings in a safe, caring and supportive environment. Not only does it help them to develop the communication skills and vocabulary to express themselves but it also focuses on the importance of developing empathy by listening attentively to others. Above all, it helps young people to build self-confidence and improve their self-esteem. I believe that good self-confidence is an essential element to open doors of opportunity for young people. Create the Great in You is a wonderful, innovative programme and I highly recommend it to schools, colleges and youth clubs.
