An addictive eating trait,
Filling the lives of young men,
With mistrust and hate.
Hate for themselves and the world they live in,
Often thinking watching Sesame Street,
That I would be better off in the bin.
Why? Oh Why? Do we do this to ourselves,
Is it the normalisation of these behaviours,
Which leave us on the shelf.
Placed there to be frowned upon,
As if almost to be judged,
These impressionable teenagers,
Are highly equipped to hold onto a grudge.
Weakness or weaknesses of the mind,
In turn can turn to kind,
The kind of kind that minds the minds
Of these young men that could have shined.
